Here is the last installment of our July Newsletters. We're happy to have received so much positive feedback from the many of you who are happy that you no longer have to pay for access to use our member services. We're very happy to still be alive and strong after 5 years since opening our doors.

This week's newsletter covers the topic of "Shared Visions," a somewhat overlooked topic when it comes to dating and relationships.

Shared Visions

The concept of shared visions is rather simple - as a couple you set joint goals and dreams that you strive for on a regular basis. As you complete goals and dreams you set new ones so that, as a couple, you are always progressing together towards a goal.

When your relationship has common goals and desires, then it makes it easier for a couple to grow within that relationship and remain together. You've heard that "a couple that prays together, stays together?" Well, perhaps another appropriate saying is "a couple that dreams together, remains forever."

Take the time to sit down with your partner and come up with some joint goals and visions. Things that, as a couple, you can strive for together. If you are married, this may be "to buy a home together". If you have kids it may be "to develop a college fund". If you're just dating it may be "to save up for a vacation to Ireland." No matter what your relationship status is, it is never too early to begin dreaming. And once you've set your goals, keep in mind that "obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes of the goals."
