Are there any nice girls left?
I am "nice" guy looking for hopefully, the one. I'm shy at first,
but warm up fast and can be very silly and fun with the right person. Just a regular guy looking for
the right one, if she comes along...Are you the one? I certainly hope so!!! Don't be fooled by the
picture, most of the time I don't wear a suit. It was new, and I hadn't had a picture of myself in
about 10 years and thought I looked pretty good in it.
I have down that I drink rarely. This is
true. I have maybe 1 or 2 beers or a rum and Coke once or twice a year. That's it. Otherwise, it's
usually Diet Pepsi, Diet Mug Root Beer (now there's a beer), diet Sprite or Sierra Mist Free. You
get the picture.
Like I said, I am kind of quiet and shy at first. You might have to start most
of the conversations. But once I get used to someone, people love me. Not conceited, just been told
that dozens of times. So, if you think that you like to have doors opened for you, and most of that
chivalry stuff. I am your man. That's just the way I was brought up. I wasn't brought up to treat
women badly. My parents taught me that.
Not much time to read (well, maybe not exactly true), but
love all kinds of things. When I do read, I enjoy Stephen Hawking, Douglas Adams, Stephen
King...
I like most all movies, it's hard for me to stop watching a movie if it's bad. Usually, I
stick it out to the end. But love them all. Action, romance, drama, sci-fi, most musicals...and love
comedies!
And music...I love all kinds of music except for the bad rap (cop killing and the foul
language are not my thing), and heavy metal. I even get in the mood for classical once in a while.
Along with everything from A-Ha to ZZ Top. Alison Krauss to Bon Jovi. America to Garth Brooks. Green
Day to Gretchen Wilson. Mannheim Steamroller to Seal to Gnarles Barkley. You can just about name it,
and I will like something by someone.
The first thing people usually notice about me is I'm funny
and sarcastic, and almost always happy. My Brother works at the same place I do, and always tells my
Mother that when he comes in, people are always gathered around me to talk to me. I told him "I
can't help it everyone loves me!" And I have been told that I am too good a guy to be alone, and a
great guy that is hard for them to believe that I am still single (so I've heard from all my female
friends). And that I always notice the trivial things going on in movies, or on TV shows.
On a
typical Friday night I am At home watching Monk or Psych or on the computer. Once in a while, I will
go meet my friends at the bar. They like to see me sing for some reason...Don't know why...They tell
me I'm good, but sometimes I think that all the people that say that they sound like a Kelly
Clarkson or Brian McKnight on American Idol, and then end up sounding like a screeching cat, must
hear that they are good too from their friends (wow, talk about a run-on sentence). So I am
skeptical at best. But whether I can or not, I still have fun doing it!

I am a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy most of the time. I also like to sing karaoke (but have not
done so in a looooooooooooong time) and would love to get back into it. Otherwise I work in a
machine shop (going on 21 years this February 24th, when did I get this old? Lol). Looking for the
